My friends and I went out of the way to stop here on our way home from a camping trip, and were disappointed to see that the shop was closing as we were getting out of our car to walk inside. We were hoping to spend some money and thought that the owners would've offered to stay open just a couple minutes for us to look inside and buy a few things to take home. Instead they just turned us away, but they said we could look around still if we wanted. However, by mid August almost all of the lavender has been harvested already so there wasn't much to see. We wasted gas and over an hour of our time... if you want to visit make sure it is closer to mid-July, and also make sure you get there well before 5pm.
This farm is lovely. Several acres of lavender are growing. It's a beautiful sight, and when it's quiet you can hear the buzzing of thousands of honey bees tending the lavender. We saw a wedding going on here, it looked really nice! It's open to the public and a really unique sight.
Really cool place that's worth the stop if you're in the area. Beautiful photo opportunities.The buzzing of the bees is surprisingly loud. The shop has tons of lavender themed products at reasonable prices.
Loved this place! Smelled great, loved the lavender soda, and was very relaxing. I will definitely be back!
